Our Story

“Canaway” combines Canada and Pathway. Founded in 2018 to prepare students for success in Canada, we expanded in 2024 to serve students aiming for the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and more. Today, Canaway High School (formerly known as Canaway Private School) is a division of Canaway Global Learning, reflecting our new international mission.

Canaway High School is a boutique Canadian Virtual High School based in Toronto, operating since 2018. We are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education (BSID 669611) to grant credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). With fewer than 100 students per cohort, we deliver personalized, high-quality education, achieving a 100% success rate in university admissions to top institutions like the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, and others.
