Our Story

“Canaway” combines Canada and Pathway. Founded in 2018 to prepare students for success in Canada, we expanded in 2024 to serve students aiming for the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and more. Today, Canaway High School is a division of Canaway Global Learning, reflecting our new international mission.

Canaway High School is a boutique Canadian Virtual High School based in Toronto, operating since 2018. We are
licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education (BSID 669611) to grant credits toward the Ontario Secondary School
Diploma (OSSD).

With fewer than 100 students per cohort, we deliver personalized, high-quality education, achieving a 100% success
rate in university admissions to top institutions like the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, and others.

2018 - Fundación

Canaway was founded as a 100% online educational initiative based on the Canadian High School Diploma, designed to prepare students from Latin America for admission to Canadian universities and guide them toward academic and professional success.

2019 - Service Expansion

We broadened our educational offering with new experiences that complement one another. In addition to the Canadian High School Diploma, we introduced English classes, immersion camps, and academic advising, consolidating a comprehensive approach to student development.

2022 - Expansion of Destinations and Partnerships

We established new partnerships with educational institutions in different regions of the world, strengthening our academic programs and extending our international reach beyond Canada.

2024 - Internationalization

Canaway expanded its global presence to deliver quality education to students worldwide. As a reflection of this evolution, we changed our full name from “Canaway Academy” to “Canaway Global Learning.”
